A former early childhood educator and oral storyteller, Srividhya Venkat is the author of
GIRLS ON WHEELS and other picture books, including DANCING IN THATHA’S FOOTSTEPS
(winner of South Asia Book Award 2022), and THE CLEVER TAILOR (winner of SCBWI
Crystal Kite Award 2019 and one of Evanston Public Library’s 101 Great Books for Kids in
