Tiny Tales for the Teeming Mind is celebration of culture and color! This collection of 10 short stories is a rich expression of the little joys and trials faced by people of color.

The stories weave a light-hearted yet bittersweet narrative taking the reader through the hopes, dreams, dilemmas and responsibilities of its relatable characters. Each story also contains a sweet visual treat for the reader in the form of hand-illustrations by the author.

The tales are a strong testament to the hope, strength and resilience, that can be found within each of us, making it the perfect feel-good read!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Prabha Girish is a Chicago based writer who grew up in the sunny little city of Muscat, Oman.

She then moved to Mumbai to pursue Chartered Accountancy and Law, moving to Chicago later on.

Prabha started writing poetry at the age of eight. She loves to spin out short stories and poems. She likes to find the unique in the mundane, to put a twist to an otherwise regular tale, to draw out the intricacies of various ethnicities and celebrate characters of color.

Above all, she loves to spread good cheer and humor through her tales, written particularly for young readers.
