Vernon Hills, IL—After several weeks of moving cases, shelves, and books from the second floor to the first floor at Hawthorn Mall, we finally got our permit from the building commissioner of the Village of Vernon Hills. That means we are all set for customers to drop by and say hello.
The new bookstore, located next to Macy’s, is smaller than our previous 29,000 square foot space, but it’s still loaded with comfy sofas and chairs for deep reading, a vibrant children’s section for those smart kids who like to read, and a wonderful staff headed by Georgette and Andrew, manager and assistant manager.
For those who prefer to stop-and-go without coming inside, we still offer curbside pickup. Just call ahead (847.549.7550) and order your book. We’ll let you know when to come pick it up. Just drive up and we’ll bring it out to your car.
