Meet Songju Ma Daemicke

February 2, 2020 @ 10:00 am 11:00 am

Songju Ma Daemicke grew up in Jilin, China and came to the United States in 1996. She lives in Glenview, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, with her husband and their daughters.

“I enjoyed reading while young and throughout my youth,” says Songju. “Even though I always excelled in math, I have always loved literature. After my twin daughters were born, I read to them every day.  Reading stories inspired me to try to write a story, myself.”
