ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Alex AmouyelAlex Amouyel is the founding Executive Director of MIT Solve, an initiative supporting social innovators globally and with a mission to solve world challenges. Throughout her career at MIT, the Clinton Global Initiative, Save the Children, and more, she has met countless world leaders, CEOs, Heads of State, and Nobel Prize winners. And while these people all have a role to play in solving world challenges, it is a new generation of social entrepreneurs, activists, and changemakers who hold the most promise. Through this work, Alex has also found that like these problem-solvers, we all have a role to play in effecting change in big and small ways in our community, in taking action against injustice, and in living a life full of impact.
