The BarbWire Program is operated by Barbara’s Bookstore/Mayuba Inc. Each member and/or user of the Barbwire Loyalty Program is bound by these Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time. The current Terms and Conditions are those available at the Barbara’s Bookstore website, barbarasbookstore.com.
Joining the Program
The Barbwire Loyalty Program membership can be activated in-store by opting in and completing your customer details, in the manner required by Barbara’s Bookstore.
Activation, or use of the Barbwire Loyalty Program, is deemed to be acceptance by you of these Terms and Conditions. Each application for membership of the Barbwire Loyalty Program is subject to acceptance by Barbara’s Bookstore at its absolute discretion.
Employees of Barbara’s Bookstore are not eligible to participate in the Barbwire Loyalty Program.
Each Barbwire Loyalty Program member may hold only one membership account.
Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Businesses, Schools and other non-natural entities are not eligible to join the Barbwire Loyalty Program.
Discount
Loyalty Program members will receive a 10% discount on purchases, in participating stores. Some merchandise may not qualify.
Redemption of Rewards Coupons
Reward coupons can only be redeemed for goods and services sold at participating Barbara’s Bookstore locations.
Reward Coupons are redeemable, one time only, by attributing the sale against an active BarbWire Loyalty Program member account at any participating Barbara’s Bookstore. This is done by presenting a Barbwire Loyalty Reward Coupon during the checkout process. Barbara’s Bookstore Inc. reserves the right to not accept the redemption of a Rewards Coupon if it considers that the use is unauthorized, fraudulent, otherwise unlawful or contrary to these Terms and Conditions.
Rewards Coupons cannot be redeemed for cash.
Rewards Coupons cannot be used after the expiration date.
Reward Coupons cannot be combined with any other offer.
Privacy and Security
Registered Barbwire Loyalty Program members will receive regular communications.
Personal information will only be used for marketing, promotion, and provision of information which Barbara’s Bookstore deems would be of interest to loyalty members.
Barbwire may also disclose your personal information to our suppliers who:
- Provide customer service;
- Conduct market research and analysis; or
- Provide marketing services.
Your BarbWire online password must not be disclosed to any other person.
Barbara’s Bookstore is not responsible for lost or stolen information or for online member accounts which have been improperly accessed or used by third parties either through your computer equipment or through use of your online password.
Program Membership
Barbwire reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Barbwire Loyalty Program at any time by providing at least 60 days’ notice to members. If the program is terminated, then all rights cease.
Membership in the Barbwire Loyalty Program may be suspended or terminated immediately by Barbwire if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that a Barbwire Loyalty Program member has shop-lifted or defrauded Barbara’s Bookstore or misused the Barbwire Loyalty Program in any way.
Barbara’s Bookstore may terminate any membership of the BarbWire Loyalty Program without notice if the relevant member:
- Fails to comply with these membership Terms and Conditions;
- Engages in misleading or deceptive conduct in connection with the BarbWire Loyalty Program;
- The member dies.
Members may terminate their membership in the Barbwire loyalty program at any time by visiting any participating Barbara’s Bookstore or by emailing barbwire@barbarasbookstore.com
On termination of a membership, all points and rights associated with the relevant member account cease and the former member will have no further rights against Barbara’s Bookstore.
These Terms and Conditions apply in addition to any additional conditions associated with member benefits or vouchers.
The decision by Barbara’s Bookstore in relation to all matters relating to the Barbwire Loyalty Program including its interpretation is final and binding, unless contrary to law.
Barbara’s Bookstore may appoint team members of any Barbara’s Bookstore to exercise any discretion conferred on Barbwire under these Terms and Conditions.
All conditions and warranties, whether express or implied and whether arising under statute or otherwise, are expressly excluded to the full extent permitted by law.
BarbWire may make changes at any time, in its absolute discretion, to these Terms and Conditions. Barbwire will endeavor to provide reasonable notice of such changes.
Where BarbWire is required to give notice under these Terms and Conditions, notice may be given by either publishing a notice on the BarbWire website located at barbarasbookstore.com and/or by email to the members of the BarbWire Loyalty Program. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that a valid email address has been supplied and to check the barbarasbookstore.com website for updates to these Terms and Conditions.
Barbwire does not accept any liability for email communication to a member that is misdirected, lost or not received, or any damage to any computer related to or used in connection with the Barbwire Loyalty Program.
